Maybelline Colorsensational Lipsticks: Ruby Star, Iced Caramel

I think this wraps it up for my lipstick swatches!

I actually didn't like the texture of Ruby Star, it felt almost gritty.  I like Iced Caramel but I feel like I've gone from having one or two nude lipsticks to more than I can use.  

Covergirl Queen Collection Lipsticks: Ruby Slipper, Au Naturale

I love these lipsticks!  What I found odd though, was that these were not even in the same aisle as the other Covergirl products.  Nonetheless, I picked these two lovelies up recently:

Smooth, creamy, pigmented, very long lasting... what more can I say- these are awesome!!

Covergirl Lip Perfection Swatches: Sultry, Temptress

Wow, I just realised I haven't bought any of these lipsticks since April, and I didn't finish swatching the ones I have!!  Project CG underway lol!

These two are Sultry and Temptress.  I was excited about Temptress, but Sultry ended up looking better on me.

Pardon the bad lighting, we have had nothing but rain for the past 3 days, despite the fact that it has also been over 90 degrees! 

I think I layered Sultry on a bit thick, but oh well.

These lipsticks are great- they are my absolute favourites besides MAC. They have no scent or taste, and they are very creamy, pigmented, and long lasting. I don't usually go for frosty lipsticks, but even their frosty shades are flattering. They have a huge range of colours, and I out of all the lipsticks I have tried, I have to say, these are very much worth it. I also have come to appreciate the low profile packaging more as other ones I have tried seem to clash with whatever else I may be carrying, so I tend to avoid those when I go out for that sole reason.  

Inglot Swatches! New Mattes: 318, 391, 340, 327, 343

I thought I was going to hyperventilate when I got my Inglot box!!  I havent ordered any makeup in forever, I forgot what that's like!  I used to order every other day lol!!

These mattes are perfect- buttery, smooth, pigmented- Inglot lovers, you know the deal.

Sorry for the bad lighting- we are having some storms here- tomorrow's swatches should be better!

My favourite of these by far is 340.  Its just a perfect dark blue- kind of denim-y.  I don't really know what I am going to do with 343 yet, since its such a bright chartreuse, but I can see it, in small quantities!  The others are definitely staples.

Inglot Eyeshadow Swatches: Highlights

For some reason I did not order that many highlighting shades on my first Inglot order, and I am still going through my last one, so these are all I have for now.

I was very disappointed in 08 Shine.  It applied all patchy and was just too sparkley, it was a real mess on my eye.  I've used it 4-5 times and it still did not give me the results I wanted.  I think I will try it wet, maybe that will solve the issues but using it dry it just did not work out for me. 

I really liked 412, it has just the right amount of pigmentation and finish for a highlighter. 

I know I have a MAC shade like 399, I just can't think of the name.  A little too dark for an actual highlight but I liked it above the crease. 

Although these are very similar, I still really like them both for highlighting.

Inglot Eyeshadow Swatches: Purples

Just a quick post here with more Inglot swatches!  I am doing them as fast as I can- I have more on the way. 

These are purples (and one blue!), all very beautiful!

I really love these eyeshadows a lot!  I don't think I have used any other brand of eyeshadow as my lid colour since I got these.  More swatches to come! 

Sleek Paraguaya Eyeshadow Palette Review

The Paraguaya palette is a limited edition part of Sleek's Avoir la Peche collection.  It is simply gorgeous and definitely one of their best palettes!

 

Here are the swatches, top row I wasnt paying attention so it's four, then the last two:

I really like this palette a lot.  The shades are gorgeous.  Good mix of mattes and shimmers.  I don't remember ever doing a peach eye so I am loving that.  Unique is very good for me!  My favourites are Peach Gold and Persimmon.  I also love that they put grey/taupe shades instead of black, it really does go well with the peaches; black would have been too harsh in my opinion.  

I also really love that they wrote the name on the front.  I have a lot of black Sleek palettes they all look the same; this way it's a tad easier to find without turning it over.

I also experienced little to no fall out with the shimmers, which has not been the case in other palettes, so I was very pleased about that.  All of the shades have excellent pay out, but I was really impressed with the mattes. 

I would definitely recommend this palette!
